Bali Hai and Cili Garner Prestigious Fairways Awards

Las Vegas, NV - 10/15/2004 - Bali Hai Golf Club and Cili Fine Dining restaurant swept honors at last night’s annual “Fairway Awards.”
Bali Hai won the coveted “Best Overall Course” award, for the third straight year, besting some 60 other area properties. Cili won “Best Restaurant” for the third year in a row.
VegasGolfer Magazine, the official publication of the Southern Nevada Golf Association, presents the “Fairways Awards” annually.
In addition to “Best Overall Course, Bali Hai was awarded with the first ever “Best Cart Girls” distinction, an historically overlooked, but integral part of the overall golfing experience. The exotic Balinese themed clubhouse at Bali Hai was also recognized as “Best Clubhouse.”
Further accolades for Bali Hai included “Honors” for” Best Course Pro Shop,” “Best High-End Resort Course,” “Best Overall Experience” and “Best Par-3” hole for number 9.
Bali Hai and Cili are owned and operated by Walters Golf, which also won awards for their other properties.
Royal Links Golf Club was “Honored” as “Best 19th Hole,” “Best Par-4” for hole number 12 and “Best Overall Experience.”
Stallion Mountain Country Club was “Honored” with “Best Private Course” and “Best Practice Facility.”
Desert Pines Golf Club was “Honored” with the dubious distinction of “Most Underrated Course.”
The Walters Golf Academy’s Director of Instruction, Mike Davis was recognized as “Best Instructor” in the state, adding to a long list of prestigious distinctions he has been awarded.
