Bali Hai and Royal Links Host ESPN National Golf Challenge Finals Las Vegas, NV - 11/16/2005 - The ESPN National Golf Challenge is an amateur two-person better ball tournament designed to find "America's Best 2 Some" in both Gross and Net divisions. Two-person teams from all over the US registered at Local Qualifying Host Sites and those winning golfers met in Las Vegas, November 14th and 15th for the National Finals. The finals drew a field of 120 golfers competing on two very diverse courses. Bali Hai Golf Club, which is a Schmidt/Curley design offering 7,002 yards of tropical golfers paradise right on the Las Vegas Strip and recognized as one of the Top Resort Courses in America and Royal Links Golf Club, a Dye-Design links layout featuring 18 of the best holes from 11 different British Open rotation courses. The tournament was immensely popular for the golfers and organizers. “The combination of two such distinctive and challenging courses as Bali Hai and Royal Links really proved to be an exceptional golf tournament experience for our competitors.
