| Las Vegas, NV - 1/15/2008 - Ever wished there was video of your best golf shot? For Royal Links Golf Club head Pro Jeff Mayhall that wish came true in December on the “Postage Stamp” at Royal Links during the filming of a “Golf Life” feature.
The Royal Links features 18 of the best holes from 11 different British Open rotation courses, yet is located less than nine miles from the heart of the Las Vegas Strip
“It was a very non-Vegas like day,” said Jeff Mayhall, “It was only in the low 40’s with a strong wind and is probably the nearest we get to the weather in Scotland. There was even a little rain. A hole-in-one is always an amazing experience but to do so on a hole inspired by the famed “Postage Stamp” from Royal Troon and to be caught on videotape, well, it was a wonderful Christmas present for me. ”
Beginning mid-March, Fox Sports Net viewers across the country will have the opportunity to see Jeff’s triumphant moment. The program is called “Golf Life” and viewers will not only get to see the hole-in-one, but also a wonderful video tour of the course and castle-style clubhouse.
Beginning this month those same viewers will have a chance to take a video tour of the Desert Pines Golf Club in Las Vegas. Desert Pines is often referred to as the “Pinehurst” of Vegas and offer golfers a Carolina sandhills experience
